Putting a spin on the National Flash Mob movement, Cash Mobs are the newest trend sweeping the business community. Cash Mobs gather a group of people at a surprise location on a certain day and time. “Mobbers” are simply required to show up, have a good time, and spend a pre-designated amount.
Cash Mobs can pop up at restaurants, retails centers or at any service providing business. TahoeChamber is proud to host the first Cash Mob in South Lake Tahoe on August 23, from 12 to 2pm. Join us as we launch the newest addition to our lineup of events that help promote the community and create a strong local economy.
The name of the first business to be mobbed has not yet been released, but we are excited to announce the location of the first South Lake Tahoe Cash Mob via Social Media on August 16th at noon. “Mobbers” will spend $15 or less and have a fabulous lunch while networking amongst other “Mobbers.” Anyone interested in being a part of our first Cash Mob should “Like” us on Facebook.com/TahoeChamber or “Follow Us” on Twitter @TahoeChamber.
