SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – In honor of all that the Angel of Tahoe Lisa Maloff does for the community, the Lake Tahoe Boys & Girls Club held a celebration Friday complete with large bouncy houses, a train, and magic show.

All kids who have been attending BGCLT in South Lake Tahoe this summer were on had to enjoy the party provided by Lisa, something she has now done for three years. Besides all the fun and games, the kids were also treated to pizza, hot dogs, watermelon and ice pops.

The party also included the presentation of a proclamation from California Assemblyman Frank Bigelow’s office in honor of Mrs. Maloff’s contributions to the South Shore.

Some of the local non-profits who have received funds from Lisa were present and paused for a photo opportunity with the woman who has blessed the community with millions in donations for many things including the Robert Maloff Center at Barton Hospital, the University Center at Lake Tahoe Community College, fire-fighting boats, and police K9 officers.

BGCLT was the recipient of a donation from Lisa to help build their new clubhouse. During the end-of-summer party in 2019, Mrs. Maloff presented the club with a check for $3 million to help build the clubhouse which will be adjacent to their current location at Al Tahoe Elementary School on Lyons Avenue.

Construction could start as early as Spring 2020.
