SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Three people were arrested by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) on Friday after they responded to a call about people dumping trash on US50 west of SR89.
Officers contacted three subjects and detained them, determining one to be on felony probation out of Santa Clara County.
One male resident of Santa Clara County was arrested for a felony probation violation and driving under the influence of a controlled substance. A female passenger was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of crack cocaine (cocaine base).
