SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® Young Professionals Network (YPN) and the Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe have joined forces to launch the 2026 School Teacher Supply Drive, an online campaign that makes it easy for community members to provide local teachers with needed classroom supplies.
Teachers frequently spend their own money to supplement limited classroom budgets and ensure that students have the materials they need to succeed. Through the drive, local teachers have created Amazon Wish Lists containing supplies selected specifically for their classrooms.
The campaign currently features wish lists from 20 local teachers. Community members may purchase one or more individual items or sponsor a teacher by fulfilling an entire list. No complete list costs more than $150.
The drive is a simple and meaningful way for our community to support local teachers and the students they serve. Whether someone purchases one item or fulfills an entire list, every contribution helps a teacher prepare a welcoming, well-equipped classroom for the new school year.”
To participate:

- Click “Support a Local Teacher.”
- Select a participating teacher.
- Choose individual supplies or purchase the teacher’s complete wish list by sponsoring them.
- Complete the purchase through Amazon. Items will be shipped directly to the teacher’s designated delivery address.
School begins August 24, so community members are encouraged to participate as soon as possible. The South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® YPN and the Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe hope to fulfill all 20 current lists and add more teachers as lists are completed. Donors are encouraged to revisit the website throughout the campaign and share the drive with friends, colleagues, and other members of the community.
The 2026 School Teacher Supply Drive reflects the shared commitment of the South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® and the Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe to supporting local educators, strengthening schools, and helping Lake Tahoe students begin the year ready to learn.
