SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Republican Women of California-South Lake Tahoe (RWC-SLT) hosted its annual BBQ on August 13 featuring guest speakers Robb Tucker, 3rd District Congressional Candidate, and Heather Hadwick, State Assemblymember, District 1. Over 70 guests were present.
Robb Tucker spoke about: (1) Protecting our Constitutional Rights, (2) Keeping our Borders Secure, (3) Restoring Fiscal Sanity, and (4) Wildfire Resilience. Robb is running for Congress, District 3. For more information, please visit: robbtuckercom
Assemblymember Hadwick spoke about: (1) Fire Safety, (2) The Wolf Crisis and her two bills, (3) Self-Defense Protection AB 1722. This bill would protect Californians from penalties under the California Endangered Species Act when acting in legitimate self-defense or protecting others from immediate harm from a predator.
Dyna Boen and Doug Williams, two South Lake Tahoe City Council candidates, also addressed the group and discussed their campaigns and the issues. It was acknowledged that Brandi Bannister was present, and she is running for City Clerk for the City of South Lake Tahoe.
The Republican Women of California – South Lake Tahoe meet most months on the second Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Some of our core beliefs are: Fiscal Responsibility, Secure Borders, Legal Immigration, Less Government, Lower Taxes, Keep America Safe.
