SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The community has an opportunity to learn about the proposed 2025 Mitigation Fee updates and fire code amendments at an informal meet and greet on Wednesday, August 27 at any time between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The information station will be in the Lake Valley Fire Protection District (LVF) Fire Station 7 Training Room at 2211 Keetak Street, Meyers.

This is an informal opportunity for those on the South Shore end of El Dorado County to:
– Learn about the proposed changes
– Ask questions
– Share your feedback

Please note: There will not be a formal presentation, readings will take place at the Board meeting on August 29, 2025, at 4 p.m. for the fire code amendments and September 11, 2025, at 4 p.m. for the mitigation fees update.
