SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The South Lake Tahoe Senior Center is hosting its first Resilient Training for Older Adults on Wednesday, August 26 at 10:30 a.m. “Rebuild Your Strength – The Ultimate Guide to Staying Mobile After 50” is a one-hour session provided for free by Coach Ricardo of Resilient Training.
The class will be in the Mirror Room at the center.
After a fantastic turnout at Thursday’s potluck last week where Coach Ricardo spoke to the seniors about the importance of movement, he will be back for free sessions every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
These approximately one-hour sessions are designed for the 50+ community and will focus on practical, approachable ways to:
- Build and maintain strength
- Improve balance and mobility
- Support healthy movement and flexibility
- Learn how nutrition and exercise work together
- Stay active, independent, and moving with confidence
There is no charge to attend. Donations are always appreciated and will go toward purchasing equipment for future sessions.
Come in comfortable clothing, bring your water or favorite hydration choice, and be ready to BE RESILIENT!
