
When students make their way through the doors of classrooms in Lake Tahoe Unified School District on Monday, 22 new certified staff members will be there to greet them.

Just like many other South Lake Tahoe residents, teachers and other staff members new to town need to find affordable, workforce housing. Danielle Brand, LTUSD Certificated Personnel Specialist, helps out the new hires by giving them a list of property management companies and tips for searching on Craigslist. Brand also gives them tips about commuting from neighbor cities, including information about weather, driving time and possible road closures.
