SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The public is invited to join in on the last evening program of the season at Taylor Creek Visitor Center on Friday, August 28 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
NorCal Bats will be on hand at the Lake of the Sky Amphitheater at Taylor Creek. They will be there to educate the public on the facts and myths about California bats!
This free event is fun for all ages. There will be a kiosk for optional donations to help support the site. It is a great venue to also catch a beautiful sunset in the background!
Where: Lake of the Sky Amphitheater (take the Lake of the Sky Trail for a short walk past the Taylor Creek Visitor Center)
When: Friday, August 28, 2026, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
What: Learn all about Tahoe’s little brown bats while they fly overhead! Presented by NorCal Bats.
