SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – A long power outage at the Y in South Lake Tahoe on Wednesday was due to a tree company in the area that accidentally dropped a tree onto a power line.
Over 900 customers were affected.
According to Liberty, the outage was reported just after 3 p.m., and power was restored at 1:30 a.m. Thursday. The downed line required a lengthy rebuild.
The tree service was not working for Liberty.
