SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The elevated winds the Sierra has been experiencing this weekend will be dying off as the dry frontal system moves out of the region. Monday will be dry and mild.
The National Weather Service (NWS) says models lean toward a drier, warmer week ahead as high pressure takes hold across the region. There will be low (10-30%) chances for rain and storms each afternoon for areas from Lake Tahoe southward
into the Eastern Sierra. Otherwise, expect more typical September temperatures, with highs in the upper 70s to 80s.
