SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) responded to a call of what appeared to be a deceased person on Sunday, Sept. 6 at approximately 12:14 p.m. Hikers had been in the area of Trout Creek and came across the person.
SLTPD arrived and found 32-year-old Gabriel Strong of South Lake Tahoe deceased.
Detectives also responded to the scene.
Initial investigations revealed no foul play is suspected. This remains an active investigation and an autopsy is pending.
