TAHOE CITY, Calif. – The Sierra State Parks Foundation invites guests to welcome autumn aboard the Tahoe Gal for its 12th annual park-benefiting cruise. This is an unforgettable evening on the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tahoe, complete with fine wine, endless appetizers, captivating storytelling, and a spirited live auction.
This annual tradition will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, departing from 952 North Lake Blvd., Tahoe City, CA. Boarding begins at 3:30 p.m., with departure promptly at 4:00 p.m. The cruise will return to the docks at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Each year, this special cruise brings together supporters of California’s Tahoe-Donner State Parks for a memorable blend of entertainment and purpose. Guests will enjoy spellbinding stories (some true, others delightfully dubious… you decide!), free-flowing fine wine provided by Highway 12 Winery, hearty appetizers, a cash bar, and a lively auction offering marvelous treasures and exclusive experiences. Tickets are $85 for general admission and $75 for donors. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

Featuring a truly unique venue and stunning sunset views on the water, A Liar’s Cruise has become the Sierra State Parks Foundation’s signature fall event for the California State Parks in the Lake Tahoe area. All proceeds directly fund local restoration projects and educational programming.
