Judee Adams, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on July 3, 2026, at Barton Memorial Hospital in South Lake Tahoe, California.

Born in Queens, New York, to George and Bernadine Edelmann, Judee grew up in Valley Stream, Long Island with her younger brother, George. In 1972, she moved to San Diego and later that year found her true home in South Lake Tahoe.

Judee worked for Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) at the South Lake Tahoe Airport before beginning a successful career as a Realtor. She took great pride in helping people find their own place in the community she loved so much.

Judee was fun, warm, spirited, independent, and full of life. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a generous heart, and a personality that made her memorable to all who knew her. She cherished her family and friends, enjoyed the many friendships she made throughout her life, and had a special love for her dogs, who were always an important part of her family.

She is survived by her son, Casey Adams, and his wife, Tanna; her beloved grandchildren, Zephyr and Avalon, with a third grandchild on the way; and her younger brother, George Edelmann, and his wife, Debbie, along with his children, Corey, Christa, and Georgette, and their families.

Judee will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and a lasting legacy of love, laughter, and a life well lived.

A Celebration of Life for Judee will be held on September 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the FLIGHTDECK at the Lake Tahoe Airport

All are welcome, and not to worry, there will be plenty of Pepsi.
