
Fall in Lake Tahoe normally brings with it a myriad of temperatures and conditions, and this year is no different. When Fall starts on Thursday, there is a 30 percent chance of rain, chance of snow above 7,000 feet wind and a high of 55.
Starting today, a small weather system is passing by the lake, bringing with it
a lake wind advisory that runs from 5:00 a.m. Wednesday morning to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. Expect winds from the Southwest from 15 to 25 mph and gusts up to 40 mph. Waves could reach 2 to 4 feet. Kayaks and paddle board will be prone to capsizing and should remain off the lake.
