SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Cascade Kitchens Food Hall & Bar is teaming up with the Lake Tahoe Lakers for another Plates for a Purpose fundraiser on Friday, September 25, from 5 to 9 p.m., bringing the community together for an evening of food, drinks and Tahoe hockey.
Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to meet players from this season’s Lake Tahoe Lakers team, learn more about the upcoming season and support the organization ahead of another year on the ice.
A portion of proceeds from the evening will benefit the Lake Tahoe Lakers Scholarship Fund, which helps offset costs associated with ice time, coaching, player development, travel and other essential program expenses. The fund helps make competitive hockey more accessible while giving athletes the opportunity to continue developing and pursuing their goals at the collegiate and professional levels.
The September event continues Cascade Kitchens’ Plates for a Purpose series, which partners with local organizations and nonprofits to turn an evening out into an opportunity to give back to the Tahoe community.
Community members are encouraged to stop by throughout the evening, grab dinner or drinks, meet the players and show their support for the Lakers as they prepare for the upcoming season.
