Snow by day, bass by night!

Tahoe Live returns to Palisades Tahoe from December 11-13, bringing GRiZ, Knock2, Chris Lake, T-Pain’s TEDDY PAIN DJ set, Madeon, Walker & Royce and more to a stage located 6,200 feet above sea level and just steps from the ski lifts.

After expanding to three sold-out days in 2025, Tahoe Live is broadening its bass-heavy roots with a mix of house, melodic electronic music, high-energy bass, crossover performances and emerging talent. The result is a lineup built for electronic music fans across Northern California and Nevada.

Last year proved just how electric Tahoe Live can be. San Holo crushed it with a guitar-driven EDM set, LSZEE – the collaborative project of LSDREAM and CloZee – filled the mountain with psychedelic bass, and Alison Wonderland brought her signature combination of powerful production and raw energy to the slopes.

Zeds Dead, Porter Robinson, DJ Diesel, PEEKABOO, Jessica Audiffred and others helped turn the base of Palisades Tahoe into a full-scale winter rave. Lasers shined through the cold mountain air, bass echoed across the peaks, and thousands of fans danced their asses off beneath the Sierra sky.

This year’s lineup is positioned to take that energy even further.

GRiZ stands at the top of the 2026 lineup, marking his next solo Northern California headline appearance following two sold-out performances at San Francisco’s Cow Palace last November. Since then, his only Bay Area appearance has been a GRiZTRONICS back-to-back set with Subtronics at Outside Lands.

Known for combining electronic production with live saxophone, funk, bass and feel-good energy, GRiZ has built one of electronic music’s most devoted fan bases. His appearance is expected to be one of the weekend’s most anticipated performances.

San Diego-born producer Knock2 will bring his explosive blend of bass house and trap back to his home state, while Chris Lake will deliver house music to the slopes as a longtime favorite among Northern California dance fans.

One of the weekend’s biggest surprises will come from multi-platinum artist T-Pain, who will step behind the decks for an electronic set under his TEDDY PAIN alias.

The lineup also includes Madeon, known for his cinematic electronic production and visually immersive performances; house duo Walker & Royce; and Noizu. Additional performers include BUNS, Cole Knight, Control Freak, Daniel Allan, DEVAULT, DJ UNI, HerShe, Klo, KHØDA LEON, Nala, WINK x nikko, YDG and Zaddy B, with more artists still to be announced. Personally, I’m looking forward to Mary Droppinz’s set.

Tahoe Live is also keeping the format that distinguishes it from larger festivals: one stage, three days, and no overlapping performances. Fans never have to choose between artists, allowing the entire crowd to experience the same sets together throughout the weekend.

Set at the base of Palisades Tahoe, the festival lets attendees ski or snowboard during the day, then walk from the slopes to the festival as the mountain transforms into an alpine dance floor by night.

For fans in Sacramento and the Bay Area, Tahoe Live offers an accessible winter road trip without a flight or cross-country festival journey. Palisades Tahoe is roughly two hours from Sacramento under normal conditions and within weekend-road-trip distance of San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose.

The trip is even easier for fans in Reno, Truckee, and the greater Lake Tahoe region. Palisades Tahoe is approximately 45 miles from Reno-Tahoe International Airport, making the festival easily accessible throughout Northern Nevada and the Tahoe Basin.

Once guests arrive, lodging, restaurants, bars, shopping, and après-ski activities are all available within walking distance in The Village at Palisades Tahoe.

“We really wanted this year’s lineup to reflect where Tahoe Live is going,” said Tahoe Live founder Dustin Esson. “House, bass, and high-energy electronic, while still keeping the single-stage format that makes Tahoe Live special.”

Tahoe Live launched as a two-day festival in 2022 before moving to Palisades Tahoe in 2023. It welcomed approximately 15,000 attendees in 2024 and expanded to three days for the first time in 2025.

Despite one of Tahoe’s driest starts to winter in generations, all three days of last year’s festival sold out. Attendees traveled from 48 states, and lodging in The Village sold out well before the event.

That growth has helped Tahoe Live become more than another stop on the electronic festival calendar. It is now a destination experience where fans can ski or snowboard during the day, grab food and drinks in The Village, and dance beneath the stars at night.

Tickets are on sale now through TahoeLive.net. Fans are encouraged to purchase passes early following last year’s sold-out event.
