Temperatures into the 40s and a chance of snow is in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday in the Lake Tahoe region. Cloudy skies are expected on Wednesday with scattered showers. The snow level will be just above lake level at 6500 to 7000 ft on Wednesday with wind gusts in the morning expected to 55 mph over the ridges.
Thursday’s forecast calls for a chance of snow showers in the morning with sunny skies in the afternoon. The snow level will be 7000 ft and ridge wind gusts at 50 mph.
The cooler weather will be replaced by the weekend by temperatures in the low 70s.
