LAKE TAHOE, Nev. – Here is an update on a previous story about Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District Firefighter Conner Bradley, who is battling Stage 4 lymphoma with strength and resilience. He has already undergone three rounds of chemotherapy and remains steadfast in his fight.
Recently, Conner was transferred to UCSF, where his medical team is conducting additional tests to further guide his treatment plan. The Bradley family wishes to extend a special thank you to Battle Born Medvac for safely transporting Conner to UCSF with such care.
The Bradley family also extends their deepest gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of support. Hundreds of donors, along with numerous organizations, agencies, and community members, have stepped forward to provide financial, emotional, and moral support during this difficult time.
A special thank you goes to his fire family, neighboring fire agencies, and unions, as well as the Reno Aces and Country Financial, who recently honored Conner during Hero’s Night—First Responder Appreciation Night held on September 11, 2025, at the Aces ballpark. Battalion Chief Matt Fogarty was honored to represent the Bradley family at the event.
This generosity continues to remind Conner, his wife Mollee, and their loved ones that they are not facing this journey alone.
The Bradley family also encourages the community to donate blood, which has already played a vital role in Conner’s care and continues to save countless lives every day.
