Chase International and the South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® (STAR) are planning an informal Celebration of Life to honor long-time member, Past President, and volunteer leader Steve Eisen. He was a REALTOR® member for 53 years, and a member of the South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® for 50 of those years.
Celebration of Life for Steve Eisen
Friday, October 16, 2026
3- 5 p.m
South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® Building Conference Room, 2307 James Ave., South Lake Tahoe.
Steve Eisen served on the Multiple Listing Service and Grievance Committees as a member, Vice Chair, or Chair for more than 30 years. He was very proud of his tenure.
Each year, leadership considers current and past committee chairs’ volunteerism and contributions in an effort to honor and thank them – and each year they would sit in awe that Steve continued to serve in his roles year after year, contributing his background, knowledge and tremendous experience as well as demonstrating a willingness to stay current and continue learning as things inevitably changed. When leadership inquired, his response was always that he’d be honored if asked to continue to serve. Then, when the incoming President, responsible for committee appointments, asked if Steve was willing to continue in his role, Steve always graciously agreed.
Steve would share stories about the association from time to time and would recall when STAR (South Lake Tahoe Board of REALTORS® then – SLTBOR) had more than 500 members, met for monthly luncheons with speakers, and had big networking events, including buying out the MS Dixie for an evening on the lake.
Steve was also proudly a member of MENSA due to his tremendously high IQ. There are only approximately 150,000+ members of MENSA across more than 90 countries worldwide.
There is nobody who will be able to fill his shoes. We are proud to have been his REALTOR® family and second home for many years, and incredibly grateful for all of his dedication and service. He will be truly missed!
