Tahoe Arts Project (TAP) extends a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make the 13th annual Dancing with the Tahoe Stars fundraiser on October 10, 2026, a tremendous success!

This special evening brought together talented local dancers and their partners, generous sponsors, enthusiastic supporters, and community members for a night of entertainment, friendly competition, and fundraising in support of the performing arts in South Lake Tahoe.

A very special thank-you goes to our local stars and their dance partners for the time, energy, and commitment they put into preparing for the event. Their hard work and willingness to step onto the dance floor helped make the evening memorable. We also thank our sponsors, donors, judges, MC’s Sara Pierce and Bryan Thompson, South Tahoe High School Dance Team, volunteers, and everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the event.

“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and enthusiasm our community continues to show for Tahoe Arts Project,” said Peggy Blowney, executive director of TAP. “Events like Dancing with the Tahoe Stars remind us what a special community we live in. Thank you to everyone who danced, donated, sponsored, volunteered, and cheered us on. Your support makes a real difference in the lives of our local students.”

Tahoe Arts Project extends its heartfelt gratitude to the 40 cash sponsors whose generosity was instrumental in making the 13th annual Dancing with the Tahoe Stars our most successful year in the event’s 13-year history. Their financial support, along with the enthusiasm of our dancers, donors, volunteers, and community members, made this milestone possible. We are deeply grateful to everyone who believes in our mission and helps us bring the performing arts to South Lake Tahoe schools and the community.

Tahoe Arts Project would also like to extend a special thank-you to our generous business sponsors: Kahle Community Center, The Studio, South Shore Beauty, MVMNT, Sessions Salon, Bruschetta, Forest Suites Resort, Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa, and Bally’s Lake Tahoe. Their generosity and support helped make the 13th annual Dancing with the Tahoe Stars possible, and we are grateful for their commitment to our community and the arts.

As Tahoe Arts Project celebrates its 40th season in 2026–2027, community support is more important than ever. The success of Dancing with the Tahoe Stars helps TAP continue bringing high-quality performing arts experiences to local schools and audiences throughout the South Lake Tahoe community.

This event would not have been the incredible success it was without our amazing director/producer, Meg Peart. We are beyond grateful for the vision, time, heart, and hard work she poured into making this event so memorable. Meg, thank you once again for supporting TAP, and we truly couldn’t have done it without you!

Thank you, Tahoe, for making this evening such a wonderful celebration of dance, generosity, and the arts!
