SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Jake Krzaczek, the newest officer for the South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD), was sworn in Monday afternoon in front of a large crowd of family, friends, fellow officers from SLTPD, firemen and paramedics from SLT Fire Rescue, and other members of the community.

Officer Krzaczek, who is 24-years-old, was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe and graduated from STHS in 2013. He has been with the Alpine County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy for the past two years.

The newest SLTPD officer comes from three generations of law enforcement officers and is the son of Rob and Suzy Krzaczek.
