
A small weather system is passing by the Sierras on Wednesday evening, bringing with it a chance for light snow overnight and into Thursday morning. There is another chance for light snow on Sunday as another small weather system approaches.
Lows will be in the teens all week in South Lake Tahoe.

Wednesday – A 10 percent chance of snow showers after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 43. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday Night – A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. West wind around 5 mph becoming northeast in the evening. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Thursday – A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 10am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 36. East wind 5 to 10 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Thursday Night – A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 10pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 18. East wind 10 to 15 mph.
Friday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 35.
Friday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 15.
Saturday – Sunny, with a high near 43.
Saturday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 19.
