Jerrica Stueven snapped this photograph taken near Homewood today, which appears on the Keep Tahoe Blue League to Save Lake Tahoe Facebook page. Waves along the shores of Lake Tahoe are running between 3 to 5 feet, according to the National Weather Service in Reno. North to northeast winds will persist throughout the day with gusts from 40 to 55 mph in the Tahoe basin, and 100 to 130 mph along upper ridges over the Sierra Crest.
