A spirited crowd was on hand as the South Tahoe Vikings hosted the Truckee Wolverines Friday Night in their league opener.
The boys started off the game with 9 straight, unanswered points and lead throughout the game, ending up victorious with a 52-45 win over Truckee.
The girls team was in a battle through 4 quarters but ended up with a loss with a score of 33-24. Their Thursday night was a win over Wooster, 48-28.
The next game for the STHS Varsity Boys and Girls teams will be a home game on December 20 against Lowry of Winnemucca. Game time is 6 pm for the girls, followed by the boys at 7:30 pm.
