TAHOE CITY, Calif. – The Sierra State Parks Foundation hosted a virtual art contest for the 50th Earth Day celebration this past April as a way to bring the community together during this period of social isolation. It was met with an enthusiastic response, receiving 65 submissions from all ages. The theme of the art was “What Does Earth Day Mean to you.”
