LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Sierra State Parks Foundation is hosting an Earth Day Drawing Contest for all ages. Show them what you love about Lake Tahoe and the planet!
Age divisions are as follows; Pre-K and Kindergarten, Grades 1-3, Grades 4-6, Grades 7-12, and Adults. There will be prizes awarded to the winner of each age division.
Submit drawings by April 19, 2020, to Communications@SierraStateParks.org. There are no limits on the number of entries per person. The winner will be chosen on Earth Day, April 22nd and notified that day. All submissions become the property of the Sierra State Parks Foundation.
Earth Day was founded in 1970 as a day of education about environmental issues. This year we celebrate 50 years of this global day to honor the earth.
“We hope our art contest will be one small way to extend the message during these trying times of isolation. More than ever, we realize how much our planet and parks matter to us,” said Sierra State Parks Foundation Executive Director Heidi Doyle.
