Prescribed fire set for Tuesday on south and east shores of Lake Tahoe
Submitted by Editor on Mon, 12/10/2012 - 5:43pmExpect smokey skies Tuesday ahead of a storm system as the U.S. Forest Service fuels management crews will hold prescribed fire operations in the High Meadow area near South Lake Tahoe and above State Route 28 near Skunk Harbor Tuesday, Dec. 11. Crews expect to burn two acres at each location, weather permitting. Operations will continue as weather and conditions allow.
