Join South Lake Tahoe law enforcement at Cuppa Tahoe for Coffee With A Cop

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - It's that time of year again when the California Highway Patrol hosts the first of the season's Coffee With A Cop. Join them, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department and the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office at Cuppa Tahoe on Tuesday, July 23 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Cuppa Tahoe is located in the Crossing at Tahoe Valley, 2054 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Todd Borg joins Friends of the Library to read from his newest book, Tahoe Rescue

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Lake Tahoe Historical Society is bringing back its popular summer speaker series, Tahoe History Talks on the Beach, on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting June 25.

The free talks are held at Lakeview Commons on the west side steps. Lakeview Commons is located at the corner of US50 and Lakeview Ave. There is plenty of free parking.

LAKE TAHOE, Calif./Nev. - If you were living on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe August 26–27, 1980, you most likely watched the planted bomb detonate inside Harveys Lake Tahoe. The Lake Tahoe Historical Society is holding its next Tahoe History Talks on the Beach on Tuesday, July 23, and the topic is "I Got Bombed at Harvey's." That saying was quickly put onto t-shirts and sold through South Lake Tahoe.

Vacancy Tax proponents to host online info session on July 24

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The proponents of the vacancy tax, now designated Measure N, will hold a digital information policy to answer questions about the policy on Wednesday, July 24, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Zoom.

Members of Locals for Affordable Housing will walk through the key aspects of the initiative and address frequently asked questions. Questions can be submitted with an RSVP at tahoevacancytax.com/info-session.
