TahoeChamber Tourism Forum at Harveys Cabaret Theater

The TahoeChamber will host its Annual Tourism Forum on April 26 at Harveys Lake Tahoe Cabaret Theater. The forum will feature Ralf Garrison, owner of Advisory Group Inc. and professional travel and tourism consultant, and Dr. Emilynn Sheffield, CSU Department of Recreation, Hospitality and Parks Management program professor. This year's theme, “Trends in Tourism,” will focus on changing demographics and the way travelers use technology and recreation and how that reshapes the tourism industry.
A “Millenial Team” of 20 students from CSU Chico's Recreation, Hospitality and Parks Management program will be asked to research the community and present a report card of their findings, based on expectations and experience.
The forum will be held from 3-5 p.m. at Harveys Cabaret Theater and will be followed by a Business After Hours Mixer at Hard Rock Café from 5-7 p.m.
