How do Now Ads work?
We first create your Now Ad using your company's logo, and linking it to your website. Next, we enter your facebook account name, and the system pulls your latest post into your Now Ad. Every time you post to your facebook account, your Now Ad will be updated within a few minutes.
We are already posting updates to facebook and Twitter. Why do we need Now Ads?
Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter are great ways to stay in touch with your current customers. What Now Ads does is to put your social media messages in front of your future customers, those who may not know you, or haven't patronized your business. We can help you build more followers on Twitter and Facebook, and bring new customers to your door.
What should I post to my Now Ad?
Big question. Use your facebook account and Now Ad to communicate with your customers. Tell them about specials you are offering, or events you have planned. You can also use it to tell them what else is happening with your business. Or use it to say thanks to customers or employees. You can also post links to photos and videos to share with your customers.
There are things I send to facebook that I might not want on my Now Ad. Can I leave those out?
First, we would ask what are you sending to your company's facebook page that you don't think is appropriate. Normally, your company's facebook account is for communicating with your customers. Not every post has to be some kind of promotional offer. Saying thank you to your customers and other similar comments are perfectly OK to use in your Now Ads. But, if you want to keep these functions separate, you can create a new facebook account that you use only for Now Ads.
What if I make a mistake and want to remove an update?
Simple. Just send another update, and the older one will be discarded from your Now Ad.
Can I update my Now Ad using my Facebook page?
Yes, but it requires an extra step. First, you have to create a Twitter account. Then, connect your Facebook page with your new Twitter account using this tool. Then, all you have to do is update your Facebook page, and those updates automatically go to Twitter and to your Now Ad.
Is there any restriction to what I can post to my Now Ad?
Yes. We ask all our Now Ad customers to abide by our terms of use for posting content, specifically to avoid profanity, ethnic slurs, personal attacks and other inappropriate messages. If an advertiser violates these terms, his or her ad will be removed from the site.
Can I change my logo, website link or facebook account on my Now Ad?
Yes. We can do that for you, or you can sign up for an account and have access to make changes yourself.
