The STHS Drama Department will perform The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. This is an award-winning musical comedy that has charmed audiences across the country with its effortless wit and humor. Featuring a fast-paced, wildly funny, and touching book that is relatable to both young and old. It features a cast of favorites and a wonderful live musical combo.

An eclectic group of six middle schoolers vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While doing so they disclose candid and heartfelt stories from their often-troubled home lives. The students spell their way through a series of words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing "ding" of the bell that signal a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter: one speller leaves a champion. At least the losers get a juice box! A fun-filled ride, complete with audience participation, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a delightful, comedic, fun filled romp for actors and audience alike.

Directed by Ethan Niven, with Music direction by Allyssa Little, Choreography by Rhonda Keen and Stage managed by Ollie Suave. The cast includes Madeline Jones, Emma Zion, Maci Harden, Gilberto Aguirre, Mannix Behrendt, Neo Harness, Hannah Kelso, Preston Smith and Gloria Webb.
