July 13, 2022 - 7:30pm D’DAT (Delbert Anderson and the Delbert Anderson Trio) is a multicultural ensemble fusing Diné melodies of the Southwest, jazz, funk and hip-hop and they will be at the Valhalla Boathouse Theater on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. James Pakootas motivates with stories overcoming difficult paths and is supported by trumpet artist Delbert Anderson, national touring artist Nicholas Lucero and groove bassist Mike McCluhan. D’DAT combines all characters and genres to give audiences an exciting multi-cultured performance. D’DAT’s contemporary Indigenous sound not only attracts listeners but also tells the story of tradition teachings and personal identity. D’DAT has been featured on Grammy.com, JazzTimes Magazine, NPR and SiriusXM.
