AAUW-South Lake Tahoe Salad Social

The American Association of University Women, South Lake Tahoe Branch, is hosting a Salad Social at Bijou Park on Wednesday, July 27, from 4pm to 6pm. AAUW-SLT is a membership organization with a focus on advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research. It hosts general meetings on a variety of topics and special interest groups that include a book club, Great Decisions, and a writing group. Its community and philanthropic activities include sponsoring campers in a STEM camp called Tech Trek and scholarships for graduates of Lake Tahoe Community College who are continuing their education. The group welcomes new members and encourages those who are interested in joining with other women both socially and for a purpose to learn more about the organization.
