Capture the colors of a Lake Tahoe fall photography hike

Event Date:
October 14, 2018 - 10:00am

Explore the fall beauty of Lake Tahoe through your camera lens with the Tahoe Rim Trail. Bring your camera (fancy or not, smartphones OK!) and join photo expert Steve Hale to learn how to truly capture the striking reds, yellows, and oranges of deciduous trees as they get ready to drop their leaves for a winter's sleep under the Sierra snow. While traveling to Page Meadows, Steve Hale will guide participants in the basics of photography so you all can get that perfect gram-worthy shot.

The hike will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is about three miles and starts at the Ward Creek Trailhead near Tahoe City.

The cost of the hike is $5 per person. To sign up for one of the 14 spots, visit https://tahoerimtrail.org/event/fall-photo-hike/.
