Tax-aide volunteers needed in South Lake Tahoe

Looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity? If you’re good with numbers and people, you’re the kind of volunteer needed by the South Lake Tahoe branch of the AARP Foundation’s Tax-Aide Program.
They are seeking individuals interested in working in the volunteer-run tax preparation center. These volunteer tax preparers, called counselors, work directly with the taxpayer to fill out tax returns and electronically file the quality-reviewed returns.
Experience is not necessary. They will train you. Bilingual speakers are especially welcome. Training starts in the third week of November.
