Sierra Sweethearts are Northern Nevada’s premier all woman ensemble. The band features sparkling vocal harmonies and sizzling instrumentals.
Winners of the 2017 “Forte Award for Northern Nevada’s Best Bluegrass/Americana Band", the Sweethearts serve up an exciting mix of bluegrass, cowboy, swing and country classics, spiced with generous amounts of humor.

Mike Beck is an engaging acoustic solo artist who performs in the United States and Europe. Beck is a regularly featured performer at The National Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering. He has seven albums with original songs that have been recognized as some of the finest compositions on Western Americana.

Todd Morgan and the Emblems is a young four-piece band, led by singer-songwriter and musician Todd Morgan. The band’s music consists of original pop and rock music, along with covers of 50s and 60s Rock-n-Roll and up to present day pop and rock songs. The band has recorded 3 albums.

Besides jamming with other musicians, the 34-year-old bluegrass aficionado (if that isn't too high falutin' a word for his musical genre of choice) and Tahoe native has set up a business in town making violins as well as providing restorations, repairs and set ups for all bow string instruments — violin, viola, cello and bass.

This fun, family event will include bluegrass music by local band, Bison, a free BBQ dinner, activities for the kids, an ice cream social hosted by members of TRPA's Governing Board and Advisory Planning Commission, and demonstration booths explaining TRPA's mission.
