The new board of directors for the Lake Tahoe Humane Society (LTHS) has decided to put their building on Emerald Bay Road up for sale.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CALIF. - El Dorado County Sheriff's Office responds to calls throughout the county. The following are calls that only pertain to the South Shore. There may be some missing calls due to sheriff's logs not being completed at time of story.

Lake Tahoe Humane Society holds garage sale

As the new Lake Tahoe Humane Society Board of Directors restarts, rebuilds, restores and re-engages the agency, they are holding a yard sale to remove excess merchandise to help in that effort on Saturday, June 2.
From 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., they will be selling lots of goods in their back parking lot. Even though the agency is located at 884 Emerald Bay Road, its easier to access by parking behind them on Roger Avenue.
Search warrant served at home of former Humane Society director

Detectives and officers from the South Lake Tahoe Police Department served a search warrant at the home of Niki Congero Thursday morning, searching for evidence in their embezzlement investigation of the former Lake Tahoe Humane Society executive director.
