Tahoe Kid's Triathlon to feature athletes 3 to 13 years old

Kids from the ages of 3 to 13 will be participating in Sunday's Triathlon in South Lake Tahoe. Each athlete will be swimming, biking and running in the area of the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center. Parents can help the kids in the Pee Wee group (3 to 6) only.
Distances depend on age, as listed below.
3 to 6 year olds:
25 yard swim (flotation device and parents okay)
1 mile bike ride (okay for parents to accompany)
.3 mile run (okay for parents to accompany)
50 yard swim
3 mile bike ride
1 mile run
10 to 13 year olds:
100 yard swim
5 mile bike ride
7 to 9 year olds:

From large events such as America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride and the Lake Tahoe Marathon to local favorites like the Tahoe Kids Triathlon, there is sports event for every ability and age group. Barton Health’s medical staff is gearing up for many of these events, but not just to compete.
Tahoe Tri Club Creates Three Reasons To Get Out and Run

Tahoe Tri Club has teamed up with the City of South Lake Tahoe to host three family races in a new series called “Run Through The Holidays.” The three races will be themed to match each of the holidays coming up this fall. The events will infuse fitness and fun into what can often be a stressful time of year. The holiday season is a time to spend with family and create memories, and this is just one more way to do that.
Lake Tahoe Kids Triathlon This Sunday

The City of South Lake Tahoe Recreation Department is proud to partner with the Tahoe Tri Club to host a Kids Triathlon this Sunday, July 21, at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Complex beginning at 1:30 p.m. Arrive early for registration. The cost of the event is $35.
The Tahoe Kids Triathlon is a triathlon (series) for kids ages 3-13. The triathlon course includes the Recreation Complex Swimming Pool, Parking Lot, and Greenway that surrounds the Campground. A post-race party, barbecue and yearly age-group awards will follow the triathlon.

The Tahoe Kids Triathlon is a super fun and super spectator friendly triathlon (series) for kids ages 3-13. The triathlon course includes the Recreation Complex Swimming Pool, Parking Lot, and Greenway that surrounds the Campground. A post-race party, BBQ and yearly age-group awards will follow the triathlon.
Age Groups:
