SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - With more than one Chamber of Commerce serving the South Shore there is often confusion about their names and functions.
In 2005 the Tahoe Douglas Chamber and South Lake Tahoe Chamber merged into the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce (LTSSCC) for the whole community, both sides of the state line. A group of California side businesses then formed the South Tahoe Chamber of Commerce.
Go Local and Win - Shop in South Lake Tahoe this season and win

Shoppers buying locally in South Lake Tahoe between November 28 and January 1 might be taking home more than a gift for someone on their list this season.
"Go Local and Win" is a campaign by the Tahoe Chamber to encourage people to shop in town and not off the hill. By doing so, not only will they support local businesses, they can also win prizes each week.
Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber celebrated 60th with the community

It was a trip down 60 years of memory lane as the Tahoe Chamber celebrated their birthday on Wednesday night.
Over 150 people attended the mixer at Tep's Villa Roma, many who have been in South Lake Tahoe almost as long as the chamber.
Long time locals Bill Kingman, Tom Davis, Paul Middlebrook and Deb Howard shared the Trivia game hosting duties, trying to stump the crowd with questions from the community's past 60 years (and beyond).
Winter Wine Walk BAHM! returns to Heavenly Village

Join TahoeChamber and its members for the annual Winter Wine Walk BAHM! (Business After Hours Mixer) on Thursday, December 11. The Winter Wine Walk combines shopping and sipping for a delightful holiday experience! The BAHM! begins at Marriott Grand Residence Club where attendees receive passports to experience delicious wine and food from participating stores in the shopping center. Participating businesses stamp attendees' passports for a taste of El Dorado County Wine and appetizers while showcasing their products.

The Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce is holding a holiday wine walk for their December After Hours Mixer. On Thursday, December 11, both members and non-members will get a passport and move from store to store at the Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe.
There will be El Dorado County wine as well as food at participating locations.
If participants find they have had too much to drink, free rides are being offered by Yellow Cab for all BAHM passport holders.

The LTSSCC is partnering with Mann, Urrutia, Nelson, CPAs & Associates LLP will go over the ins and outs of using Quickbooks for your business.
Participants will receive a free one-hour consultation for new clients.
The lecture will take place in the LTSSCC meeting room, cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
