Slowroller Poker Run in South Lake Tahoe

The public is invited to take part in the Slowrollers bicycle poker run on July 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Check-in is at Sidellis Brewery at 12:30 p.m.

The best hand wins a new Hang-Ten 3-speed beach cruiser, lots of raffle prizes and a great lunch from Sidellis Brewery. Cost is $20 per person. The brewery is located at 3350 Sandy Way, South Lake Tahoe.

Slowrollers Poker Run on Sunday

The Slow Rollers Bicycle Club of South Lake Tahoe is holding a Poker Run on Sunday, June 15. The participant with the best poker hand will win a new bike!

Signups are at MacDuff's at noon and the event starts at 1 p.m. For $15 cyclists are entered for the day's events including a BBQ. Prizes include a new Beach Cruiser, a longboard and dragons.

World's Longest Bicycle Parade at Lake Tahoe

South Lake Tahoe made history on May 17, 2012. In honor of National Bike to Work Day the Slow Rollers organization have, unofficially, and more than likely made the Guinness Book Of World Records for holding the world's longest bicycle parade. Lake Tahoe cyclists look to break world record today

Today is the day: South Lake Tahoe bicycle group Slow Rollers is asking the community to come out to its second annual Spirit Bike Parade today and an attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records by forming the longest single line of bicycles. To beat the record, now held by the city of Davis of 916 bicycles, South Lake Tahoe will have to produce 917 bicycles or more. The event begins at 4 p.m. with a start up at the old Miller's Outpost, South Shore Bikes, 955 Emerald Bay Road. Get there early to register.

Slow Rollers Spirit Bike Parade

South Lake Tahoe cycling enthusiasts are going after the world record for the largest bicycle parade.
Slow Rollers bike club is sponsoring the May 17 event at 4pm. Riders will go from the Y in South Lake Tahoe to MontBleu in Stateline.
