The Meyers Business Group would like to thank the individuals and businesses that made our inaugural Meyers Tree Lighting event on Dec. 9, 2011 such a success. The holiday arrived early for 27 South Lake Tahoe non-profit organizations Thursday, Dec. 8, as $100,000 in charitable contributions was distributed on behalf of LIVESTRONG® and the American Century Championship by the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority.

“We’re fortunate to have the support from LIVESTRONG, NBC Sports and American Century Investments to assist to the local community,” said Carol Chaplin, executive director of the LTVA in a news release. “In addition to an outstanding event which attracts visitors, our 22-year partnership also helps local groups in need.”
