South Lake Tahoe Tiger Team cleans up old Zehren's Nursery
Submitted by paula on Sat, 09/24/2016 - 8:54amSeveral different agencies that are part of the Tiger Team have come together to clean up the property of the former Zehren's Nursery on the corner of Pioneer Trail and Ski Run Blvd in South Lake Tahoe.
The Tiger Team, a program started by the City in January of 2015, was formed to be more efficient in addressing code compliance issues, complaints and eventual resolution. They are utilized in the active code compliance issues in an effort to continuously improve the visual quality of the built environment.
Neighbors want South Lake Tahoe property gone
Submitted by paula on Sat, 09/19/2015 - 6:44amLast week, South Tahoe Now carried a story about changes on the South Shore, businesses who were moving, starting or renovating.
Since that time, information has surfaced about one of the subjects, the Tahoe Pines Lodge.
New owner Darren Cobrae said he wanted to remodel the aging motel which has become home to long term renters. His plans for the property included adding two restaurants and retail space.
