Al Roker stopping in Lake Tahoe during annual Rokerthon: Visits all 50 states in one week

Get ready for Rokerthon 2! TODAY's weatherman-and-more Al Roker plans to take America by storm.
At the inaugural Rokerthon last year, Al set a Guinness World Records title by delivering the weather live for 34 hours straight. This time, he's going for another record.
Al plans to set the fastest time ever for reporting the weather from all 50 states — going coast-to-coast and everywhere else in just one week. And it's all for a good cause, too.
South Lake Tahoe Business Gets Washed Up for Snow

It may not be Mother Nature or the weatherman you want to thank for the storm that is coming into South Lake Tahoe today. It just might be the team at Pyramid Peak Ski and Snowboard Rentals.
Why you ask?
"It always rains or snows when you wash your car," said owner Geoff Bottini. He told SouthTahoeNow that when they heard a weather system was arriving that they figured they'd help it along by offering a free car wash. They advertised on their store windows and facebook page about the 10 am to 4 pm event.
