Lake Tahoe 4WD Club holding annual Meet & Greet on Saturday

Learn about four wheel driving around the Lake Tahoe Basin during the Lake Tahoe Hi-Lo’s 4WD Club meet and greet membership drive on Saturday, June 3 in the TJMax parking lot at the Y in South Lake Tahoe from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The non-profit club has been in Lake Tahoe for 50 years. They promote family recreation, social activities, enjoyment and protection of natural resources. The club has been a member for 50 years of California Four Wheel Association which is a state wide organization of California four wheel drive clubs and Gary Lefler is the local club's current president

Annual Gambler's Poker Run - 4X4 Event

Join in the Annual Gambler's Poker Run hosted by Lake Tahoe Hi Lo's on August 19, 2017.

Registration - Main Camp are located 25 miles south of So. Lake Tahoe near
Markleeville, Calif., at junction of Hwy 4 & Wolf Creek Road on the east fork of the Carson River. Enjoy beautiful Toiyabe National Forest, in the heart of the Sierras, with free dry camping.​

The Run -This is a guided, slow moving 4-wheel drive trip through the Deer Valley trail area, with BBQ and raffle afterwards. Limited to properly equipped vehicles.

$1.1 billion approved to give Raiders a new home in Nevada

The deal to bring the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas is one step closer after the Senate approved a more than $1.1 billion public funding package for an NFL stadium and convention center upgrades in Las Vegas.

What seemed like an uncertain proposition early in the day came to fruition after a lengthy amount of closed-door wheeling and dealing. Five senators opposed the measure, including state Sen. Julia Ratti, D-Sparks, who was appointed to her district for the special session, and state Sen. Don Gustavson, R-Sparks.
