June 30, 2018 - 8:00am This overnight backpacking 101 course is designed for backcountry enthusiasts eager to learn how to upgrade their wilderness experience by learning how to backpack. Join us for this weekend experience to learn all kinds of backpacking tips and tricks, including dressing for success in the backcountry, how to pack a backpack, choosing gear, navigation, Leave No Trace wilderness ethics, campsite selection, backcountry cooking, and bear safety.

November 8, 2012 - 6:30pm Join us at Sierra Nevada College for a free community screening of Green Fire, a documentary film about legendary conservationist Aldo Leopold. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., Film begins at 7 p.m. The film will be followed by a Q&A session.
