Minden man dies in Pine Nut mountains ATV accident

The accident happened just before 9:30 a.m. on Sunrise Pass Road near Juniper Valley behind the Johnson Lane subdivision in the Pinenut Mountains.
Douglas County Sheriff's Office deputies say the dune buggy, driven by Daniel Palmer, was speeding west on a dirt road when it slid and drifted head on into the path of an oncoming older Ford F-150.
