SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — Valhalla Tahoe invites the community to join in the festivities at the annual Holiday Faire being held November 15-17, 2024.

The Valhalla Grand Hall will transform into a winter wonderland, filled with unique holiday gifts, seasonal treats, and live entertainment.

Faire Hours:

Friday, November 15: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday, November 16: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, November 17: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

South Tahoe High School Ski Swap this weekend

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Powder House ski and snowboard shops and CV Sports have teamed up with the South Tahoe High School Action Sports Marketing Club to put on a ski swap this weekend in the school's student union. The swap is being held on Saturday, Nov. 16, and Sunday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

They’re back again for the second coming of Guilty Christmas. Yes, the characters from the long-running Guilty Pleasures are back in a winter show with newly updated sketches and songs in a fast-paced comic musical written specifically for the Tahoe audience, both local and visitor alike. Time has gone by since the group had served their community service together but all the characters remain. Older, (though perhaps not wiser), they are ready to get together again, and this time they are doing a Christmas show.

Bread and Broth hosting annual community Thanksgiving Dinner November 25

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Bread & Broth is hosting its annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Monday, November 25 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at St. Theresa Church Grace Hall. This special holiday meal is for all community members. It will be a full-course meal that includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, rolls, and pie for dessert. In addition, dinner guests will be given a food giveaway bag containing dairy products (eggs, milk, and butter), fresh produce, bread, pastries, meat, and canned goods.

Parent Night presentation "Steered Straight" in Douglas County

Bijou Elementary School 5th Grade Fundraiser at Elements

December 4, 2024 - 5:30pm

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The 5th graders at Bijou Elementary are excited to participate in an overnight trip to Sierra Nevada Journeys to learn outdoor science education. To accomplish this, the students are holding a fundraiser at Elements Eatery and Bar on Wednesday, December 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Besides food, there will also be a student art sale and a scavenger hunt for the kids.

Early-bird tickets are available through November 30. That cost for a meal and drink is $30 for kids and $45 for adults, and starting Dec. 1 the price goes up five dollars per person.
