Rod Stewart heading to Lake Tahoe for summer concert

An evening of timeless hits and a legendary performance is on tap for the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Area when Rod Stewart comes to the South Shore for a show on August 9 at 8 p.m.

The legendary British rock and pop singer, songwriter, recording artist, and record producer. The 79-year-old Grammy Award-winning icon is a member of both the US and UK Rock and Roll Halls of Fame.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Lake Tahoe Historical Society is bringing back its popular summer speaker series, Tahoe History Talks on the Beach, on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting June 25.

The free talks are held at Lakeview Commons on the west side steps. Lakeview Commons is located at the corner of US50 and Lakeview Ave. There is plenty of free parking.

The primary goal of our market is to promote a sense of community and a healthy way of life for Meyers residents and South Lake Tahoe locals alike. Of course, Tahoe visitors are welcome to join in on the fun! We are dedicated to bringing farmers right to your table, so we stay open rain or shine. We encourage our market patrons to bike, walk, or caravan to keep that Tahoe air feeling fresh!

Tahoe Arts Project sets date for annual Music on the Beach

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Tahoe Arts Project (TAP) will hold its highly anticipated Music on the Beach on Thursday, August 22 at Lakeshore Lodge in South Lake Tahoe.

Enjoy an evening on the beach, listening to local favorites Niall McGuinness, Trey Stone, and John Shipley.

There is a suggested donation of $20 and the gate opens at 6 p.m., show is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The lineup of Dancing With The Tahoe Stars will be revealed during intermission!

7th annual Tahoe Brewfest returns to South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Beer, kombucha, ciders, and spirits will be flowing at the 7th annual Tahoe Brewfest on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Returning to the heart of South Lake Tahoe on Ski Run Blvd, this year’s event will bring together beer lovers from all over the world to ‘cheers’ to a brew-tiful day.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The once annual Renaissance Faire has been missing from the South Lake Tahoe landscape for a few years due to construction at its old home of the Camp Richardson campgrounds, COVID, and then epic snow in 2023.

The Enchantment of Valhalla Renaissance is set to make a triumphant return for the 2024 season. Step back in time and immerse yourself in a world of chivalry, enchantment, and merriment over the weekend of August 24-25, 2024, at the Tahoe Valley Campground.

The popular jousting event is also returning with the faire.
