Author to visit South Lake Tahoe book club via Skype

February 20, 2013 - 3:00pm Author, Helen Simonson, writer of "Major Pettigrew's Last Stand," will meet with the South Lake Tahoe Friends of the Library monthly Book Club on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 3 p.m. via Skype.
Ms. Simonson's book as been highly reviewed, "In the noisy world of today it is a delight to find a novel that dares to assert itself quietly with the lovely rhythm of Helen Simonson’s funny, comforting and intelligent debut..."
Join us for tea and lively discussion of this interesting book with its interesting author. This event is free and open to the public event.
